Isaiah Stewart finally shares his opinion on the incident with LeBron James

Isaiah Stewart finally made a statement about his altercation with LeBron James by saying it was definitely not an accident.

After LeBron shared his opinion on the incident between him and Isaiah Stewart, saying that hit was an accident and how the ejections were unnecessary, Stewart talked about it as well, offering a different view on the whole situation. In a press conference today, Stewart said he watched the film several times and believed LeBron’s hit wasn’t an accident; however, he doesn’t want to address it anymore.

After making the headlines for his assault on LeBron and the entire Lakers squad, this incident is now a thing of the past for Stewart. He is now focused on helping his team and showing why the Pistons drafted him in the first place.

“This is going to be my last time addressing it. I watched the film, and for me personally, I didn’t feel like it was an accident, but it’s my last time addressing it. My main focus right now is on my team and my teammates, getting back to playing basketball, and I am not going to let that define who I am. What Detroit drafted me for is what will define who I am and the way I play basketball, so I don’t want to address that no more, and my main focus is helping my teammates and coaches.”

The Lakers are playing the Pistons this Sunday, and even though it seems cooler heads have prevailed, there is no question a lot of eyes will be focused on that game. So even though the incident is behind them with these types of matches where both teams need every win they can get, you never know if things might get heated once again during specific plays where players get physical. I guess the only thing is to tune into the game on Sunday and see what will actually happen and which team will prevail.
