Gilbert Arenas is confident LeBron and Anthony Davis will be unstoppable next season playing together for the Los Angels Lakers. Arenas who’s been actively covering the NBA on his podcast No Chill Gill, is confident Lakers are destinated for great things if both LeBron and Davis stay healthy.
After a hectic free-agency the Lakers came out as one of the winners significantly changing their roster. They’ve sent a group of young players like Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and several draft picks for Anthony Davis who was at some point in the last season in serious MVP conversations.
“I don’t know what else everyone is pretending they’re looking at, but I don’t know who’s actually going to stop them. The only thing that stopped Anthon Davis last year was his coach and actually nothing stopped LeBron last year like usual. So now you got both of those guys on the same team playing.”
Even though the Lakers have a lot of talent and depth on their roster, the main problem that is presenting itself at this moment is the time that will be needed for this team to figure out the chemistry. The other potential problem is the health issues that were haunting several players on their roster, especially Davis who often struggled with injuries in his early career. Neverthless, the Lakers have a talented group of players and if LeBron and Davis stay healthy and motivated, they can actually challenge everyone in a very competitive western conference.
