Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown entering his third season as an NBA player. During the last season, especially in the playoffs, Brown has established himself as one of the best young players in the NBA. He was able to carry the load on both ends of the floor after Gordon Hayward had that horrible injury in his first game for the Boston Celtics.
As the Celtics continue their offseason and Summer League playoff run, Jaylen Brown has been working out with a newly inducted member of the Basketball Hall of Fame in Tracy McGrady. The former California Golden Bears standout has been getting some individual work in with Tracy McGrady and it looks to be paying off for the Celtics swingman already.

Hayward is expected to come back at the beginning of this season, which means Brown will have to fight for every minute on the floor under the Brad Stevens system, which includes a lot of rotation. From everything seen so far, Brown is definitely putting in the work in this offseason in order to gain his coach trust in the upcoming season.
Boston Celtics are without a doubt in a hard spot at the moment with Tatum, Brown, and Hayward sharing the minutes on the floor. It will be interesting to see how Stevens will handle his rotations and use both Tatum and Brown in combination with someone with a lot more experience such as Hayward.
Jaylen Brown had a very successful last year by making 70 appearances for Boston and owned averages of 14.5 points to go along with 4.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 30.7 minutes per game, all of which were new career highs for the former No. 3 overall pick. Brown was also a key factor in the injury-riddled Celtics coming within one win of an NBA Finals appearance.
