Enes Kanter plans a WWE career after he retires from the NBA

New York Knicks center and one of the best young big men in the NBA, Enes Kanter is an avid WWE fan. He even said he plans to become a wrestler after he retires from the game of basketball.

In an interview with Michael Pina from Vice Sports, Kanter said he already made some connections with WWE organization and plans to become fully involved after NBA retirement.

“I’m actually talking to the people over there now. Vince McMahon, he knows me,” Kanter said of the WWE CEO. “I had dinner with [manager Paul Heyman] two, three days ago. I asked him how long he’s gonna do this and he said ‘as long as Brock [Lesnar] goes, I go, and then I’m with you.’ I’m like yes! Seriously. I’m really serious about it.”

Kanter also said he has several friends among the professional wrestlers and wants to become one after he retires.

He even introduced himself as the Undertaker back in 2010 during the Big Blue Madness. Kanter would eventually meet The Undertaker and said he was so nervous about meeting him that his knees actually shook.
