It’s no secret that people love Derrick Rose and this season is labeled as the “comeback” season for the youngest MVP in NBA history.
In the recent voting poll released by the NBA, Derrick Rose received the third most votes among all players in the western conference. James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, and Paul George all received fewer votes than Rose.

After Rose heard about the recent voting and the love he is getting from NBA fans across the world, in an interview with The Athletic said he knows people care about him.
“I don’t sell myself to people. It’s not me. That’s not my character. “I don’t have an Instagram. I don’t have any of that. It comes from me being in people’s minds for some reason and people really caring.”
Rose is currently one of the main contenders to win the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award. After a couple of relatively bad seasons with the Knicks and Cavs, it seems the Timberwolves and his former coach Tom Thibedou found the right system for Rose.
He is currently having the best seasons since his Chicago days and has become a vital part of a team that is trying to make the playoffs this season.
If Rose gets voted into the All-Star team this season, we’ll definitely look forward to seeing him put on a show like he did many times before. Even though he is in his 30’s, there have still been flashes of the Derrick Rose we grow up watching. The one that would make impossible plays look effortless.
