As you surely know by now, the Lakers grabbed the 7th seed with a dramatic win against the Warriors 103 – 100. The game was full of amazing highlights, courtesy of Steph Curry and LeBron James, but in the end, LeBron won the “play” of the night with a performance that immediately went viral.
A few plays earlier, LeBron flopped and faked he got hit in the face to draw an offensive foul. Steve Kerr challenged the call, and it was overturned. That played a part in everyone mocking LeBron for his theatrics after the foul. There’s no doubt Draymond fouled Lebron, and obviously, LeBron’s eye was affected by this. But if you just saw James’ performance and not the foul, you’d thought he got stabbed in the eye with a knife. CJ McCollum summed it up really well.
Actor of the year 🤣— CJ McCollum (@CJMcCollum) May 20, 2021
McCollum established himself as the NBA’s best Twitter follow during last year’s bubble. His back and forth with Dame about the Clippers implosion vs. the Nuggets are still funny as hell. That time, there was baggage and beef, particularly with Paul George, so it’s no surprise the Blazers duo had a bit of fun. Last night, it was LeBron’s acting performance that McCollum couldn’t resist, and he wasn’t the only one.

I wonder if the acting in space jam 2 will be this good— #1 #SNOWFALLFX FAN IN LIFE (free Melody) (@VanLathan) May 20, 2021
Powering through this devastating eye injury, LeBron nailed a monster three over Steph to win the game. Looking forward to LeBron going back on Road Trippin’ after the season and saying something like “I think that was the most difficult three ever made in the NBA.”
