According to reports the conflict between Green and Durant continued in the locker room

It seems there is trouble in paradise for the Golden State Warriors. You probably heard about the confrontation that happened in their last night’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers when Draymond and Durant went at each other.

Draymond Green lost the ball in the last seconds of a tied game which was frustrating for Durant who wanted the ball from Draymond to possibly win the game for the Warriors. Durant was having a monster game which ended in a triple-double so his request to have the ball in the last second made sense at that time, but Draymond had other things in mind obviously.

We all know what happened on the cameras during the game, however, there were some reports the conflict arise once again in the locker room between the two stars.

Adrian Wojnarowski and Marc J. Spears reported things “carried into” Golden State’s locker room after the game.

“Teammates argued with Green over his choice in the final moments to keep the ball instead of passing to Durant for a try at a game-winning shot, sources said,”.”Meanwhile, Green was forceful in defending himself, which helped to escalate the volume in the room, sources said.”

Things are even worse because according to their reports the animosity between Green and Durant is high since Durant has the ability to test out the market and therefore leave the Warriors. Durant is in his third year with the Warriors and with him on board they’ve been by far the most dominant team in the NBA.

If Durant leaves next summer to get paid in full one more time, the Warriors will still be strong, but they will not be unbeatable and the playing ground would be a bit leveled down.

It will be interesting to see how this event will affect the chemistry within the team now that Curry is still out with an injury. Green is known as a hot-headed player who is not afraid to say what’s on his mind, which could result in friction in the locker room. Hopefully, they are experienced enough to overcome this incident and get back to possibly winning a three-peat which hasn’t been done since the Los Angeles Lakers with Kobe & Shaq
