Trade talks have intensified in the last couple of days, but most of those conversations were surrounding AD and whether he is going to Boston, Los Angeles or somewhere else.
But in the back scene, it seems there was another big trade negotiating and according to different sources, the New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks have agreed to trade a quite a few numbers of players.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, New York has agreed with Dallas on a trade that includes Kristaps Porzingis, Courtney Lee, Tim Hardaway Jr., for Wesley Matthews, Dennis Smith Jr. and, DeAndre Jordan. Players and agents are being notified of particulars. This deal might also include some slight changes in regards to different draft assets. However, all the key players involved in this trade.

It will be interesting to see if any of these players will be traded again, but this changes a lot for both teams. Dallas is getting another European star in their team while the Knicks are getting a couple of veteran players and Dennis Smith Jr. who already had problems with the Mavs organisation and there were plans of trading him.
It’s hard to say who is the winner of this trade until more moves are made, but if Porzingis fully recovers the Mavericks might get a new Nowitzki sooner than they think. This was a definite gamble from Dallas, but it might even pay pay off sooner then we think
